 Eric
is a self-taught Artist from Bromsgrove, Worcestershire
having originally trained and worked as a Designer in
the Automobile industry.
He has become well known for his sympathetic detailed
portraits of Animals and Birds, spending time watching
and studying in the natural habitat for detail.
He started drawing commissions in 1985 alongside working
on his smallholding with a large selection of Farm Animals
whilst also Showing, Judging and Breeding English Setters.
With a steady increase in commissions became a full time
Artist in 1994 and started his Jacquerii Art Studio and
has since sold commissions throughout Europe, South Africa,
America and Australia.
His Commissions has been published in Cards, Fabrics,
Tiles and Bone China. Eric likes to utilize light and
shadow using a unique and bold combination of Pastels,
Pencil, Acrylic, Gouache and Watercolour to build up from
a base to a creation of stunning detail.
His love of animals and birds comes through the artwork
with the ability to capture the power and movement of
the subjects with not even the smallest detail overlooked
making the lifelike artwork widely appreciated and sought
after. |
